Media Matters Award Application

We offer awards of up to $300 CAD to defray the costs of volunteering abroad. Applicants must demonstrate a desire to contribute to our online community for the duration of their program through various forms of media. Types of media include but are not limited to blogging, photography, online articles, and video content. Other forms of media which can be transferred for viewing online, for example painting, drawing, and sketching, are also possible.The award amount is reimbursed to participants within five days of completing all activities they agreed to complete through the Media Matters Award.

Successful applicants have a clear and well-organized plan regarding what media they will create. It is realistic and is based on related skills and time available to complete activities. Issuance and size of award is based on the application below. We look forward to hearing from you!
